A note to creators and the confused...

I've been told by a few that the theme of 'horror & gothic' is too restricting, especially with the 'alternate gender' portion of the theme.

This basically means nothing strictly male or female. I think a lot of people over think this because they are so set in the gender binary rules of society. Think more of it as lifting the restrictions of gender. Boys wear dresses, girls wear suits, unisex and androgyny can be both. The items are not restricted by the physical sexual organs of the two main sexes.

The words 'unisex' and 'gender free' and even 'gender bending', are not things to be afraid of, but rather something to embrace to challenge your creativity, stretch your imagination and defy gender stereotypes, which are running abundant and breeding like bunnies in Second Life, despite the fight to break free of their shackles.

This part of the theme of the Alternate Gender Fair will never change. Our goal is to challenge and dismember these stereotypes and pre-conceived notions of what gender is. Your gender is not restricted by your sexual parts, only by your imagination and personal freedom you give yourself.

The only thing changing about the fair, is the secondary theme, and the fact that due to popular demand, next round all creators will be welcomed, not just those who make clothing, accessories and wearable items.

If ever you have any questions, leave a comment, or contact me in-world via NC.
